They can also serve a practical purpose, acting as protection for a ninja's forehead whilst in battle.

Description: A basic combo, when attacked the user has an option to parry an opponent's physical assault (effecting kenjutsu, taijutsu and ranged attacks (as well as puppetry attacks) of equal or lower rank than the user) using a fencing styled weapon. (A foil, epee or sabre) This is done by deflecting the attack and counterattacking the moment after, getting a near free-attack in unless the opponent's reflex rank is higher than the users. The Riposte cannot be used if Parry is used against ranged weaponry, unless for some reason the enemy is close enough to be attacked anyways(?).

Description: The Buyougan is the Kekkai Genkai of the Nekonote clan, and manifests in the eyes of the clan members. This doujutsu is what makes them perfect assassins, trackers and bodyguards. The ranks of this jutsu are split up in to 3 stages. The main point of this technique is the ability to sense, find and "track" chakra signatures. This, along with the image the Buyougan takes, is what gives them the title "The Guard Cats."

(D/C-rank) Stage one; One eye is changed to the color of neon pink, while the other is changed to the color of neon orange. Both eyes gain a slit reminiscent of a cat's, vertically cutting through each of the pupils. Can only see/feel that there are chakra signatures in the area and where they are. The only means the user has of knowing what or who the target is is by how much chakra they give off. If the person tracked has the ability to suppress their chakra they can pass off as woodland animals. Clan members may "mark" a target in their brain, going in to a tracking mode where they always feel a slight pull towards the direction the target is. The range of this jutsu at this stage is 50 meters straining, 30 meters with mild concentration, and 15 meters effortlessly. Can only track one person at a time.

(B/A-rank) Stage two; One eye is changed to the color of neon pink, while the other is changed to the color of neon orange still. There are now two cat-like slits in each eye, forming the symbol of an X through the pupils. Can now start to tell apart different chakra signatures, though having to "taste" the chakra of a person beforehand to pick them out. This can be done by battling the person or being close and witnessing one they were in. (Any time a reasonable amount of chakra is used by them, that is, even in a general setting.) The range of this jutsu is increased to 80 meters strained, 50 with mild concentration and 30 effortlessly. Can now track up to three people at a time.

(S-rank) Final; One eye is changed to the color of neon pink, while the other is changed to the color of neon orange- now dimly glows, able to be seen in the dark if the person doing so is close. There's now a horizontal line-slit through the X mark in each eye from stage 2, ending as a thin, six pointed star crossing through the pupil of the member. The user can now tell apart chakra signatures by shape. Cannot be deceived by chakra output being lowered. They identify the chakra of a person by merely being in their presence for any amount of time, even a few moments, and can latch onto that 'scent' from thereon.  The range has increased to 110 meters strained, 90 with mild concentration, and 60 effortlessly. Can track up to a small group (five-or-so) people at a time.

Description:  A special seal is created upon a chakra tag or a solid surface, from which a clone of the user is created. The clones are equal in power to elemental clones, although they show a small amount of higher functioning. They cannot act fully independent of the user, nor act in a way different then the seal they are created from dictates. The clones are essentially programed to attack in a specific way dependent on the small variation of the basic seal; the enhanced functioning of the clones is limited to directional changing ability. That is to say, the clones are able to change the direction from which they attack from, in order to maintain proper formation while attacking. The clones themselves have no access to a chakra pool; however, the seal itself is charged with chakra equal to 1/10th of the user's chakra; and upon breaking, explodes with the force of a C-rank bomb.
