The Mossberg:

A big black ship came storming through the ice and snow. Big blocks and sheets of ice shattered before the large imposing brig as it moved towards the dock area of the place known as Aka-Yuki. No one was here besides 2 large chakra signatures around a smaller one. Being so busy steering the ship, he didn't take the time to actually take a clear look and see who they were. he would see who they were soon enough.

Alec Kane swing the large ivory wheel around, spinning the Mossberg in a 180 degree move. More ice was shattered as the large black ship turned around to face the direction that they'd just come, causing a loud reaction from some of the crew; the majority of which had spent their entire lives in Kurayamigakure and had never seen snow or ice before. The reactions that some of the crew made caused Alec to grin some.

After pulling off a perfect turn around and dock move, the Mossberg's anchor dropped, and crew tied the ship to the docks. The cold wasn't too cold, and the crew didn't look very bothered. In fact, they looked to be enjoying the frigid weather, having never been in it. When the walkway was put down, Alec walked down it to the docks, seeing very few people. Now that he had a chance to properly scan things, he could see that this area wasn't very populated. That was fine with him.

In this country, Alec was known as a criminal, a terrorist, an assassin and a Missing-Nin. This was where he came from. In Hanagakure, the village he found himself in after his memory loss, he bombed areas of the village, killed people trying to stop him, and assassinated the Commander General, a one Izanagi Uchiha. Alec gouged his eyes from the sockets after he died.

In Yokuchigakure, several individuals tried to apprehend him, as he'd had a large bounty put on his head, and Alec was forced to kill them. The Yokuchikage became involved next, and he ended up with his leg cut off. Another Uchiha got involved after the fight, and was captured by Destiny, his oldest daughter. The scare of the situation caused his Sharingan to activate, and Alec stole one of his eyes.

In Kumogakure, Alec and his youngest daughter Artemis decide to gode out the Raikage after he attempts to align himself with Alec's grand daughter, Mitsukai. As the weakest village at the time, it seemed that the Raikage was looking for bodyguards more than an alliance, and it seemed that he was attempting to muscle this protection out of Mitsukai, who was - at the time - the youngest of the Kage. Death and destruction caused by Alec and Artemis causes the Raikage to appear. After a short battle the Raikage is assassinated.

In Konohagakure, Alec watches a spar between younger members of the village and a survivor from the disaster in Kumo. Alec becomes involved in the spar, and the survivor ends up dead after a kick to his head. Alec didn't intend to kill him, and as a result the village is evacuated. A member of Alec's clan appears in the deserted village, and knowing that other members of the Kurayami clan are said to be deranged, psychotic and violent, Alec takes no chances and kills him.

Alec imagined that nothing had changed since the last time visiting this country. He would probably still be wanted, hunted, and the bounty on him would still be intact. Nevertheless, Alec still had a grin on his face. He'd humbled himself a lot since then, learning to control his terrible temper and laughing at the insults that people sent his way, when back in those days he would fly into a rage and kill them, or at the very lease severely injure them. These days he had an example to set to Artemis, who was far stronger than he was even at 20 years of age.

Alec looked like he normally did. He was dressed in a black cloak that had a hood, currently down. the cloak was actually much more than it seemed. Alec stood 6 feet 6 inches tall, with shoulder length white hair and pale colored skin. Alec wore a blindfold over his eyes, but moved about and carried himself as if he weren't wearing it. He carried a black polished walking stick, it too much more than it seemed. There was a glowing katana at his left side, a white substance coming from the sheath that resembled smoke.

In an inn not far away from the docks, Alec could see his middle daughter Demi, Konran, a young man who had been trapped in a basement facility of some kind in Kurayami until his parents - villains - were defeated by associates of Alec, and someone he'd never seen before. Who was the kid? He'd asked when he saw them.

"Hmmmh. Back on my home continent," Alec mumbled,  his breath visible in the cold air. "Looks like Demi and Konran have been busy. I wonder what happened. Should be an interesting story..."

Artemis had jumped at the chance to go on an adventure with her father: she was stronger than any other child her age, and far more developed skill-wise than most young people could even imagine. She especially liked the idea of being able to travel around on her father’s ship: thankfully she didn’t get seasickness so that had never been an issue.

At the moment though Artemis was asleep in the cabin, curled up underneath of a mountain of blankets and snoring softly – or rather, she was. As the ship began to break through the ice the noise startled her awake, eyelids flying open as she turned over so that she was facing the rest of the cabin instead of the wall like she had been. The cabin was empty, and the noise continued. Feeling tired, but waking up fast enough, Artemis climbed her way out from underneath of the blankets and made her way out of the cabin and onto the deck of the Mossberg. As the cold air hit her she frowned a bit and glanced around, noticing it was the ship busting through ice that she was hearing and feeling and not an attack like she had momentarily thought.

Artemis yawned and then ducked back inside, grabbing her purple jacket and throwing it on – zipping the thing up to her neck. She grabbed her black beanie and stuck it on her head as well, and threw her boots on over her leggings which she was wearing underneath of her shorts. Dressed now better to handle the cold she headed back outside and over to her father. ”If I start drinking coffee will it really stunt my growth or is that just a rumor…?”, she asked, yawning as she finished. Artemis would reach up, rubbing at her eyes to get the rest of the sleep out of them before looking around. Now that she was fully dressed, and a lot more awake than she had been, the cold wasn’t bothering her all that much. It looked like they were in a winter wonderland of sorts and it made Artemis grin a bit.

”What do you mean Demi and Konran have been busy?” She doubted they could be in trouble considering what had happened when Dez had been kidnapped by pirates and her father had found out. But, she was still curious: had they been causing trouble here already? In fact, she couldn’t help but wonder what they were doing here in the first place – it had just been her and her father along with the crew who had left together…

The first mate and quartermaster came down to the dock to stand near Alec. "So this is the continent you're from, huh cap'n?" he asked, rubbing his arms and shoulders.

"Yeah," Alec responded. "I haven't been back here for a while. I may be still considered a criminal here too, you and the crew ready for that?'

"We'll follow you into hell, cap'n! But... what about the young one, Artemis? Are you sure about her being on this continent with you?"

"Sure. She's stronger than me if you think about it. She can talk her way out of almost any situation..."

"After some of the things i've seen you do, i find that hard to believe..."

Alec grinned some. "Heh. You guys go and get the supplies you need and take a break somewhere. I don't think it wise we take the ship into one of the major villages yet, so we might settle here. Nobody we need to be worried about is here... yet."

"Aye Aye, cap'n." Artemis came down about the same time as the quartermaster went back on board.

"No, no coffee for you yet," Alec responded to her first question. He started walking towards the end of the dock as she asked a second. "Well, it looks like they're here, in an inn down the way. It looks like someone else is with them too, a little girl. Your big sister is a bit on the crazy side, and it's no secret that Konran likes her some. I don't think a kid would just willingly come along with her if they aren't a bit touched in the head them self, or something bad happened to them, so maybe she kidnapped her, and Konran tried talking her out of it and failed... This is mostly me just thinking out loud, so we'll get the whole picture from them..."

The snow was packed down on the dock and on solid ground, so some foot traffic had been back and fourth. Walking along wasn't very difficult, as long as they walked somewhere that someone else had been. Putting on his usual blind routine, Alec began to head through the small village, tapping his stick along in front of him while heading towards the inn in question...

Her father responded that she couldn’t have coffee yet: probably for the best, half the time when she smelled it it smelled pretty bitter and really strong. He then went on to explain that it looked like Konran and Demi were in an inn with another individual – a young girl. Her sister was kind of crazy so chances were the girl was either crazy like her and had decided to come with, or she had been kidnapped. Konran didn’t seem like the sort of person to go around kidnapping people so if that was the case chances were it was her sisters idea and Konran had been unable to talk Demi out of it. Either way they’d find out soon enough as they stepped off of the ship and onto the snow covered dock.

Her father began his usual blind routine that she was quite used to seeing and Artemis followed along behind him, reaching up and adjusting the hat that covered her head in the process to ensure it was down over her ears. Afterward she stuffed her hands in her pockets, following along in her father’s footsteps as carefully as possible so that she didn’t end up slipping and falling on her butt.

From what she could see of the village it looked quite small. There was an inn, a tavern, a few shops, and a bar or two. The people seemed peaceful enough for there being no leader; there weren’t any riots or anything of the sort going on like she might expect elsewhere so the people seemed to know what they were doing when it came to policing themselves. ”I wonder what other kinds of trouble Demi’s got herself and Konran into then...”, Artemis commented absently and thoughtfully while reaching into her pocket and pulling out a lollipop. A quick glance down into her pocket before snapping it shut revealed at least ten more – a lower supply than she normally carried with her.

”I hope this place has a candy shop… I’m going to be out of lollipops soon.” The wrapper was pulled off and the pink colored lollipop, watermelon flavored, popped into her mouth.
