About You!

Personality: Chiyoe can be very energetic and happy: she tends to radiate it to those around herself even when sick. She’s the type of person, even as a child, to see light in ever dark situation, and is quite brave. She often faces her sickness with far more dignity than a normal child would have, often putting on a brave face in an attempt to make her mother, Uno Natake, as sad as possible – though even children have their limits, and sometimes on rare occasions Chiyoe gives in to that fear an anxiety over her medical fate.

History: Chiyoe’s father has never been in the picture; from the moment she was born she was raised by her loving mother Uno Natake. While she had been born on time she was still extremely small and underweight, and it became apparent fairly early on that Chiyoe was sick. The doctors didn’t expect her to live past the three month mark, but the child proved to be a fighter even as an infant. Each time her respiratory problems tried to bring her down she fought her way through them. She became, as her mother often would comment to her, the kind of example her mother wished everyone had.

Each time she went through severe bouts of her sickness the doctors – who had no idea what she was afflicted with – would tell her mother to prepare for the worst. Yet, Chiyoe always battled through: death held no grasp to the child even in her darkest of hours. By the age of four Chiyoe had found herself a hobby: she had stumbled across an elderly man one day in the hospital playing the violin and took a liking to him almost at once. The elderly man was intrigued by a child who was willing to sit so still for hours and just listen to music and so he began to teach her – leaving his violin to Chiyoe on his deathbed. From there Chiyoe continued to learn, teaching herself until her mother realized just how much she truly loved her hobby, and hired a tutor to give her lessons – which allowed her to thrive.

When Chiyoe turned six she found she had a knack for Weapons Tech. While waiting for her mother to get done in a meeting she had come across her workshop desk and before she knew it had made several weapons simply from her own vivid imagination: two of the three which actually worked. When her mother returned she decided that despite Chiyoe being ill she would teach her what she knew, and allow her to attend private classes provided there were always an adult or a member of the medical staff nearby. This motivated Chiyoe greatly: a chance to be like everyone else while she continued to battle through her sickness bravely.

As the next two years progressed though, with Chiyoe taking not only violin lessons but lessons in Weapons Tech and other basic training, Chiyoe continued to fight through her sickness – spending weeks in the hospital and then weeks out of it, over and over again.
