The Uzumaki Compound was always an impressive sight to behold, and potentially even more so now that it was being used as the headquarters for the Second Hokage, Hisaki Uzumaki. He had refused to move into the administration building, much preferring the comforts of his own office in his compound to the office that he would be stuck in were he to take up residence in the Administration Building. It also stunk of memories of the previous Hokage who was a man that Hisaki wanted to forget, and he was more than happy to do anything that would allow him to do so. As he glanced down at a stack of papers that had been completed on the corner of his desk he sighed softly and looked out the window, wondering what he was going to do. It had been a few days and he had been under a lot of stress about the state of the village, knowing full well that they were a shadow of their former selves.

As he looked across his office, he could see the armour stand that held his Armour of the Sword Saint, a relic of a man who had left the village long ago and had entrusted his possessions to the young Uzumaki. Around the shoulders of the bust was the Shroud of Shadows, the fascinating cloak that hid Hisaki from the most watchful of eyes. His swords, The Sword of the Immortal Blaze and The Messiah, were sitting on top of a cabinet on a pair of sword holders, and his staff, the Staff of the Storm, rested on his wall. His Kiss of Death gauntlets were always attached to his wrists, hiding underneath of the kimono that he wore and only visible by the two pinky rings that controlled the device. At any given time Hisaki Uzumaki was a force to be reckoned with, and now that he was the Hokage he just had that much more to protect. He took out a pen and looked towards a blank piece of paper on his desk, beginning to jot down a note to one of the jounin of his village.

Greetings Oda,

I am writing you from the desk of the Hokage, Hisaki Uzumaki, because I need to have an audience with you. Our village has been hurt by the man who sat in office before myself and I hope to rectify that situation, but if I am to do that I will need a representative of the most powerful clan in the village at my side. Please come to the Uzumaki compound as soon as you are able to and see me so that I may discuss my plans with you further.

Sincerely,
Hisaki Uzumaki, Hokage.

He turned to one of his messengers and spoke in his soft voice. “Please bring him here as soon as you can, this is urgent.” The messenger nodded briefly and took off with a flash out of the compound towards the place where he would find the young Oda Ryōta

Shower:

As Oda would be relaxing contemplating sleeping in all day, he would be disturbed yet again. However, it wasn’t to that point yet but his day would take a turn for an interesting encounter for he had already heard word that the old Hokage had to step down, or something of that nature and a new one was appointed. He would be thinking on what the new Hokage would be like and how soon he would be expecting a meeting with the young lad. He would be in his outdoor hot spring letting a cloud of mist surround him, it was early morning still, and he would want to clean himself just in case something sprung up and he had to be called away for a meeting, spar, or simply an outing with his mother would be a nice change of pace even at this point.

“Why must I live the life meant for a peacemaker when I was born a fighter?”

He would let the words echo through the silent morning thinking upon how even simply the other day he felt himself changing when meeting with that woman who was a half-breed Senju. He would find himself becoming soft, all this time of peace was making it to where warriors seemed needless and the path he chose pointless in his wake. He would let out a sigh stepping out of the water when he would hear someone land on the wall that helped make the bath hot spring private.

“Who are you? And what do you want with me I would hope you answer correctly I am already annoyed you interrupted my morning.”

He would sling a towel around his waist and turn toward the wall he thought he heard the man on, and he would see him jump down and walk toward him handing him the scroll then disappearing. He would find himself spitting on the ground in annoyance  and would unravel the scroll and read its content. With this he would find himself smirking his calling to the new Hokage would have come sooner than he had expected but would find this the perfect opportunity and would swiftly rush into the house throwing on some new clothes he wanted to wear.

New Look:

As Oda would spring out of his bedroom door he would be seen with for once his hair let down draping down his neck going to the base of his shoulders and would still have it slightly slicked back to keep it from falling in his face. Accompanying this new hair style would be a set of rather unique jewelry and clothing. He would wear three what seemed golden rings around his wrist fitting tightly yet not squeezing his arm followed by two on his bicep’s. In addition, to this he would be wearing one around his neck fitting loosely. He would be wearing a black V-neck collared shirt  with the card symbol for the diamond and the heart, further downward he would be wearing tan baggy cargo pants, and black boots to finish off his new look. He would swiftly arrive at the man’s home and would find himself knocking swiftly three times with a third of his might just loud enough for it to echo through the man’s home and alert him his guest had arrived.

“I hope this guy is better than the previous Hokage wouldn’t want to find myself bored a second time around already.

He would let out a light laugh as he would await for the man to open the door his hands in his pockets and his eyes seemingly more narrow and sinister looking than normal. His yellow eyes seemed to pierce through anything they looked at as he would await to see who would have replaced Mazo Uchiha.

He could hear a knock at the door and waited for one of his men to let the person in when he realized that he was at his own compound and not in the Administration building, something that made him chuckle to himself a bit as he had specifically not wanted to be in that old building that stank of failure and idiocy. He stood up and walked through the hallways towards the doors of the compound and opened it to greet the shinobi there, smiling softly and speaking in his soft voice; “You must be Oda, I’ve been looking forward to meeting you. We should go sit in the garden and talk…” Hisaki waited for Oda’s response before moving towards the garden, going around the corner of the compound.

There were many beautiful flowers and fragrances in the garden, as well as an amazingly breathtaking palate of colours. Hisaki had become quite proud of his gardening, as it was one of the things he had learned to do when he was more of an Otaku shutin before training under his former masters and becoming more comfortable with people. He touched his finger to a small seal in the middle of the garden and water suddenly began to flow from the ground down trenches into the flowerbeds in order to efficiently and easily water the plants. “There is nothing more relaxing than gardening, don’t you agree Oda? Something about taking a few small seeds and breathing life into them and allowing them to grow into beautiful flowers is exhillerating. The power over life is a truly fascinating thing, which is why since I was a small child I’ve studied into the field of Medical Ninjutsu, and since then my studies have brought me fascinating knowledge. But that’s not why I’m here…I want to talk about you, and about the future of this village…”

Oda would slowly follow the man through his home as he would lead the way as they made the journey to his garden. As they would come closer to the wonderful land of flowers, he could begin to smell some of the flowers in the garden roses seemed to be the main follower to be noted of the garden or at least by the smell it would seem. As they would walk through the arch leading into the garden he would see that the man truly did take pride in his gardening through Oda couldn’t possible understand how this man felt for truly he could recreate this same garden in minutes were like a man standing in front of him at the time would have spent many months tending to this… shall we say paradise it would seem.

“I have no idea what you are talking about Hisaki, and I can create flowers, trees, almost everything in nature in mere moments minus animals so the hobby of gardening I could never get into honestly.”

He would slightly laugh as he looked around though he couldn’t understand how this was exactly relaxing he would have some respect for the man for this wonderful garden. He wasn’t always thinking about finding his next target and attack but rather was looking for more people to be mellow with and simply saw what other activates he could find enjoyment in for true combat was a rare occasion it would seem these days.

“However I do admire your gardening skills and ability to use your training to help keep this place alive. Though that isn’t what we are here to speak of is it? So what would you like to speak with me about?”

He would wonder if there was anywhere to sit in this garden it would seem there was a circle in the center as the viewpoint of the garden, and he would hope there would at least be somewhere they could sit and speak instead of standing. That already seemed as though it would be a more interesting experience than what he had with the old Hokage. This man showed great promise with the knowledge to lead a village and the attitude to take many men into battle, and it wasn’t the way he spoke that gave Oda this impression, but the way he carried himself and how he chose to tend creatively to his little garden that showed the man wasn’t a simple fool with a boring and tedious hobby. So Oda would find himself putting him on the watching list for a potential encounter for truly it should be an interesting turn of events if these two men were to have an encounter outside of the normal meeting or even possible training with one of your higher ups. He would stroll around the garden finding himself lost in his thoughts as he would await the man’s responses, the array of colors would draw a man’s eyes as he would stroll making him slightly relax though still on guard for if anything were to transpire on their little peaceful endeavor so far.

Not everyone was suited for gardening, for it was something that took great patience. Hisaki knew that in the shinobi world patience was a virtue shared by very few, yet it was something that was so important to have. Hisaki was proud of his garden and it was a true testament to his patience. He knew that patience was something that could be taught, though, and often that was what needed to be done with shinobi. He didn’t know if Oda was a patient man or not, but he also didn’t want to make it seem as though he believed that he wasn’t. When they finally came to an area where there was a table set up with a few chairs, Hisaki offered Oda a seat and took his own at the head of the table. Whether or not Oda would sit, Hisaki would pick a plum from the tree above him, take a small bite, smile softly, and begin to speak once more.

“The real reason I called you here today was because I need help. I need to look towards the future with Konoha, and I know that I need my strongest shinobi by my side when I do so. I know a little bit about you, from what my scouting reports have provided me. You seem to be a man who would be able to help me with my unique situation. Mazo left the village in a weakened state, and I am forced to pick up and reassemble all of the pieces, though there are pieces of that missing. Several members of the village have defected, and with that happening I need to have all of my strongest men and women on high alert and on the same page as me. I suppose you could say I wish to offer you somewhat of a promotion. At this point you are easily one of the three most powerful shinobi in the village, but I want you to prove to me that you are worthy of carrying the title of Sannin. I want to know that you will be able to stand by my side when I need you. I must ask this of you, but first I need to know if this is what you want. Can I count on you? If you do not wish for this you may leave my garden and continue upon your life as per usual, I will not judge you or think any less of you. I simply wanted to offer you this opportunity to become something…more.”

The Stormlord took another bite of the juicy plum and swallowed it with a satisfied grin before looking back towards Oda with a slight smile, still passively secreting an aura of calmness which was amplified by being in this place. He meant to test the young shinobi and was hoping that he would be able to name a Sannin of his village, but he needed Oda to want it first. He patiently awaited the response of the man in front of him while he finished his plum.

Oda would look at the man wondering why he chose him of all the ninja in the village to give this “promotion.” He thought for a moment about what the title would bring to him from some more respect and yet again from other even more questioning and disrespect from simply being handed yet another position. It would slightly start to piss him off that he was always being chosen for things that didn’t have much of a meaning to the man he didn’t enjoy the endless titles or the few ounces of respect they gave him, but he would take this positions. However, it wouldn’t be for truly helping the village but rather he knew with this title if he succeeded more challenges would come his way and perhaps he would be able to find that one rival he so sought after.

“If I do choose to attempt at this promotion what will you have me do, and furthermore I believe I need more training before I can truly become a Sannin of use.”

That would be his way of leaning toward the man offering to train him. For truly, he had already heard this man was twice as strong as the previous Hokage, and he would find great pleasure training and finding new heights for his abilities if possible. This way when the time came if he chose to protect his village he could or if he wished upon its destruction he would be the man to take its last breath of hope.

“Also don’t you believe the people in the village would question such a young man rise to such a prestigious title? They already question if I can even lead my clan let alone help the village.”

With that, he would wait for the man’s responses sitting in his chair and slightly sinking in his chair. This meeting was as amusing or exciting as he would have hoped it would be, but he would give it time to pick up for at least the man brought to his attention an interesting subject. He had been watching the young ninja it would seem before even inviting him so truly he was a man of a cautious nature making sure he didn’t simple hand promotions and titles to just anyone that he could find respectable. However, either way this went if he got a promotion or not in the end he came for one thing only and that was entertainment and to find out if the Hokage was a fitting body piece so far he was though the entertainment part of his adventure to meet this man wasn’t quite there yet. Though he would give it time for even the most-exciting battle has its boring moments. With that, he would find himself looking into the sky not to be rude to the man in front of him but truly he simply enjoyed relaxing and were looking up at the sky he found relaxed him almost as much as napping under his cherry blossom tree.

"You will not simply be promoted. I shall be taking you on missions and training you personally so that I may observe your progression, and when you are ready I shall promote you." Hisaki smiled softly and placed his hand on Oda's shoulder, looking him in the eye. "I will make you into someone that nobody will ever question his worth. You will be loved by the villagers." He nodded and then motioned towards the exit of the garden. "I am afraid that I must leave the village briefly for peace talks with other villages, but once I return your training will begin..."
